"Well-organized event with a great location and size!"

It was really easy to find and connect with people since everything was in the same place. Although the VIP events were a little farther away, I understand why.

"Gamescom Dev was well put together with a wide variety of talks!"

Very strong communication from the organizers. I felt that getting tickets, finding talks, and events surrounding Gamescom Dev were easy.

The Gamescom conference 2026 had a lot of very interesting topics and presentations, and we enjoyed the pleasant and professional atmosphere. The audience was very nice and welcoming, and the food was amazing, and the orientation in the building was very easy, with the different colored stages.

Great organization and highly engaged attendees!
What did you like best about the event?
Support from the organizing team leading up to the event as a speaker was excellent. They were helpful and communicative about the event details.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
A small but noticeable improvement would be better-quality badges. The badges were made of folded paper, and mine ripped fairly quickly where the lanyard attached. It wasn’t a major issue, but it was a minor inconvenience that could easily be avoided.

Great venue with excellent networking opportunities for speakers.
What did you like best about the event?
The variety of talks and overall program were excellent. The venue, speaker facilities, and incredibly pleasant atmosphere also made the experience very enjoyable.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
The amount of overlapping programming made it very difficult to choose which talks to attend. I also wish some sessions had been vetted more carefully, particularly those focused on AI, as the quality of at least one was quite poor.

It was really easy to find and connect with people since everything was in the same place. Although the VIP events were a little farther away, I understand why.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
There could be better clarity around the locations of private events. Adding them to the schedule with an invite-only code could help, especially since several different locations were mentioned for various activities on Sunday.

The calm and exclusive atmosphere, the interesting presentations and wide range of topics, the well-organized logistics and wayfinding, and the great food.
What could the organizers do to improve the event?
Unfortunately, it wasn't clear until what time we could enter the Confex to see Steinmaier. We had been standing in front of the entrance after 10, and were then sent to the main entrance. From there, it was a confusing ordeal with a lot of conflicting information. Security claimed that we wouldn't be able to get in until 11:30 anyway with our ticket, even though we had filled out the necessary forms beforehand.
