Bio

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at Vanderbilt University, and I recently defended my PhD in Microbe-Host Interactions. My research interests focus on investigating antibody-antigen interactions, in the context of infectious disease. I am interested in the synergy of interdisciplinary research using experimental bench science and computational immunology, and in my graduate studies, my work has been rooted in the development of new tools to enable rapid and efficient antibody discovery and characterization. In my career, I am motivated to study antibody-antigen interactions, which can ultimately aid in the translation of antibodies to clinically relevant therapeutic molecules and contribute to global vaccine design efforts. I am a positive and driven learner who is passionate about using collaboration and innovative thinking to solve problems and answer research questions. I am currently looking for exciting opportunities to apply my strengths and to continue to grow as a scientist.
