Serves as the Head of Process Development, Plasmid and Viral Vector Core Facilities at Andelyn Biosciences. B.S. in Biology from Purdue University with two decades of experience in genetic and molecular research with the last 15 years at Nationwide Children's Hospital and Andelyn focusing on AAV production. Led the development of an adherent AAV production platform that is robust, adaptable, and high yielding across a wide array of serotypes that has delivered over 100 sublots in support of 70+ Phase 1 INDs. Also led in the design and expansion of the GMP facility from a single Phase-1/2a product legacy space to a newly built 185,000 square foot commercial facility capable of handling up to 10 independent products simultaneously slated to come online in Q2 of 2022. Currently leads a diverse organization of interdisciplinary scientists specializing in the development of new vector production platforms, as well as offering solutions to clients for accelerating gene therapy products to the patients who need them.
