Arsha is a real estate executive with over 2 decades of experience planning, executing and leading teams for large-scale public and private sector projects. As the former Director of Global Real Estate for Shearman & Sterling, LLP., she was responsible for the firm’s ESG & workplace strategy, Sustainability, CRE tech integration, design, delivery and management of the partnership’s 1 million sq.ft global real estate portfolio spanning 23 offices across 5 continents. Prior to joining Shearman & Sterling as Global Head of Real Estate, Arsha managed growth for JLL’s Project & Development Service Line maintaining a deep focus and passion for sustainable, scalable and impactful development. Project delivery concentration in underserved areas in the US and abroad ranging from commercial office, mixed-use and TODs. Arsha also served as Principal of the Commercial practice at Stantec where she was instrumental in executing a strategic plan for the New York Commercial Real Estate Sector addressing growth, talent, diversity, sustainability, technology and design excellence serving the needs of multi-national clients (Institutions, Landlords, Occupiers, Developers and Asset Managers). At the start of her career Arsha founded Soho-based D I A W R K S, a full-service solutions firm, providing design and consulting services to clients in the residential, commercial and institutional markets. Notable clients include Showtime, CBS, The Harvard Club of NY, Erno Laszlo NY, Madame Paulette, NYIT School of Architecture and Mission to the United Nations for the OIC. Throughout her professional career, Arsha has been involved with sustainable development initiatives and projects in emerging markets. She was as an active member of the United Nations Development Programme coupled with various pro bono commitments to the Impact Network, building schools along Zambia’s Copperbelt with deep focus on alternative energy solutions. She also served as Associate professor of Architecture at the New York Institute of Technology for 7 years. Arsha is a Board member of the JA Worldwide, Sustonable, KMJ Consulting , Council member at Nationswell and Trustee of CBC in New York. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University, GSAPP and a women’s scholarship from the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School with a Diploma in Strategy & Innovation.
