There is nothing more personal than helping someone achieve their hopes and dreams. As a former professional make-up artist and creator, I have worked with people from all walks of life - from superstars to school teachers - and in the process have learned how to listen, earn trust, problem solve and make decisions. Spending time in the “hopes and dreams” business has served me well throughout my career. Today I am the Global Head of Creator Partnerships for Whalar, the leading global creator commerce company. I am still in the business of helping people reach their potential but now I have the honor of providing career support, creative guidance, and serving as a relevant and understanding advocate for the talented artists that deliver award-winning campaigns for Whalar’s brand partners. My team is responsible for all global creator sourcing, identification, and execution - including negotiations, contracts, and creative consultation on all creator-led campaigns. With 20+ years of experience in digital branding and driving brand awareness, I have a proven track record in delivering best in-class campaigns at the forefront of the Creator Economy including Martha Stewart’s iconic debut on TikTok for Clé de Peau Beauté that went on to win Best Branded Video (Streamy Awards) and Highly Commendable in Best Celebrity/Influencer Brand Partnership (The Drum Awards for Content) in 2022. Other 2022 Clé de Peau wins include: Best Influencer Campaign (Campaign BIG Awards), Gold Influencer Marketing (CMA Intl. Content Marketing Awards), and Best Use of TikTok and Best Influencer Campaign (The Drum Social Media Awards). As an experienced marketing and digital content executive, I began my career at MAC Cosmetics, a brand that established itself with a commitment to inclusion and diversity. While at M·A·C, I oversaw the brand’s global digital presence across all global social platforms, and was part of the team that contributed to M·A·C becoming the first beauty brand to launch on IGTV and one of the most prominent beauty brands on Instagram overall. My role as a recognized make-up artist combined with a deep understanding of popular culture, digital content development and creator management enabled me rise in the executive ranks.
