Over the course of my career, I’ve delivered high-impact results across many industries, including consumer & enterprise technology, media, entertainment, fitness, design, retail & aerospace. I'm a builder and creative problem solver with experience delivering solutions that support smart, hyper-growth on a global scale. Leading through change and building amazing companies are what I love! My most recent experiences are as a Chief People Officer, but my expertise is best summarized as focusing on attracting & hiring great talent; delivering amazing employee experiences that positively impact engagement, retention & belonging; driving efficient people operations; and building industry leading programs. I started my career as a GM in the fitness industry— with P&L responsibility across multiple divisions. I made my way to HR later but, I remain grounded in my foundation as an operator. I have a reputation for capably flexing beyond the People/HR portfolio and who also 'gets it'​ and 'gets it done’. I’m a connector: A systems thinker and relationship builder with a quick ability to observe, learn and understand. I facilitate information exchange; breaking down silos and helping teams deliver more effectively. I’m a driver: I impact business outcomes by setting exceptionally high standards for myself and others, effectively determining priorities, and being tenacious about delivering results reliably. I’m a talent architect: I believe that assembling amazing teams requires opportunistic thinking and a creative approach that plays to the diverse strengths and perspectives of each member. There’s no such thing as a job that shouldn’t be reimagined to allow top talent to bring their unique talents to bear! I’m an igniter and force multiplier: I am passionate about growing the capabilities of companies, teams and leaders and helping people find their great work! I’m a remote work champion who also believes in the power of in-person interactions. It’s all about context. Right now, I’m committed to demonstrating a real “why” behind a hybrid work model. I’ve also been a member of the executive team at InVision— one of the world’s largest fully-distributed, 100% virtual, tech companies (before the pandemic!). Before that, I’ve led in several different globally distributed formats and have seen how in-person interactions help supercharge subsequent virtual ones.
