I am an ambitious and empathetic leader dedicated to leading teams to success and helping people with disabilities and differences excel in the workplace. Cambridge educated and with a Big Four management consultancy background, I have over 10 years of Retail commercial and operational strategy experience. Most recently I launched one of Sainsbury’s most successful price campaigns to date, have led analytics teams to reinvent the business’ price matching capability, and led and secured ~30% annualised cost savings through supplier negotiations with a key data provider. I also have a lifetime of experience living and working with a hearing loss. I founded and chair the EnAble network at Sainsbury’s - the first disability network in the company’s history. I am passionate disability advocate and work actively with charities to raise disability awareness, build confidence and make processes simple. I have appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC London News, at 10 Downing Street, the DWP and the Houses of Parliament. Most recently I have been selected as a Presenter Volunteer for the National Deaf Children’s Society; presenting and facilitating workshops for deaf children, their families, other organisations who work with deaf children and charity supporters. I am currently writing a book which uses my coaching model and personal experiences to help young people excel in the workplace.
