Over 23 years of biopharmaceutical industry R&D and biomanufacturing experience. Involved in commercial bioprocess development, scale-up, characterization, and technology transfer of various biomanufacturing processes including cell culture and microbial fermentation for DNA vaccine, monoclonal antibodies, recombinant therapeutic proteins, stem cells, and regenerative medicines. Numerous scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. Also holds various patents in biotech field and biomanufacturing devices. Actively involved with various scientific communities such as American Chemical Society, Society of Industrial Microbiology, and European Society of Animal Cell Culture Technology. Invited to various international conferences and meetings as a speaker, and serves as an Advisory Board member of the Amgen Bioprocessing Center at KECK Graduate Institute, Claremont, California, the Biotechnology Program at Moorpark College, Moorpark, California, and as a Technology Advisor to Green Cross Corporation in Korea.
