Bio

I live and breathe career development in all facets of my life and see myself as an expert-in-learning within the field. While I maintain a high level of knowledge and credibility through teaching and research, private coaching, and organizational consulting, because our field is so vast (and interesting!) I’m always learning and practicing new ideas. As an entrepreneur by nature and an intrapreneur by choice, I enjoy and thrive in environments where I can engage in multiple roles and meaningful projects. Colleagues and clients have recognized my ability to transfer skills and learning effectively from one context to another, allowing me to be a versatile individual who is strategic, solution-focused, and innovative. Examples of how I am currently adding value in my contexts: + Readily sharing my expertise in career education, organizational training and facilitation nationally and internationally with diverse organizations, groups, and individuals, through multiple settings and delivery modes, to help them optimize performance + Drawing from my professional experience and theoretical background in career development and student affairs to enhance teaching and learning, policies, and programs and services to consider the “whole” learner and the learner ecosystem + Offering qualitative researchers speedy and accurate transcription services by leading a team of skilled “transcription ninjas”, who work tirelessly behind-the-scenes to support an important yet tedious process in data analysis ''If you want to get a job done, ask a busy person.'' Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and I invite you to get in touch. (Last updated July 2022)
