Chris Rolls is a serial entrepreneur who has built and sold 4 businesses, 3 of which were amongst the largest of their kind in Australia. They include SCODY Performance Wear, one of Australia's largest manufacturers of triathlon, swimwear and cycling apparel, whose products have been worn by athletes at multiple Olympic, Commonwealth Games and World Championships in both triathlon and cycling. In 1999 Chris founded First Class Accounts and grew it to become the largest bookkeeping and accounting franchise business in Australia with over 120 franchised outlets. Chris also co-founded and served as Managing Director of Rental Express which he grew to become one of Australia's largest residential property management businesses with over $2 billion of residential property under management, which he sold to BRW Rich lister Paul Little in late 2016. He was previously the Operations Director at diversified investment holdings company Arowana International (ASX:AWN) and is on the advisory board of the venture capital business Arowana Capital. Chris founded PieLAB Venture Partners in 2016 which is a venture capital fund that invests in early stage technology businesses focused on the real estate sector. The Real Estate Industry Venture Capital Fund was the first real estate technology specific fund in Australia. Chris holds a bachelors degree in Sports Science, an MBA from Melbourne Business School, has studied Private Equity Investment at Harvard Business School and Venture Capital Investment at the University of California Berkeley. Chris is a sought after media commentator and innovation expert. His work has been published in “Your Investment Property” and Australian Property Investor” magazines, “The Courier Mail” and “The Australian” newspapers, and he is the resident property management expert for Brisbane’s 4BC radio show “Real Estate Talk”
