I lead the Cancer Computational and Systems Biology Group at Stanford and serve as Director of Breast Cancer Researc and Co-director of the Molecular Tumor Board at the Stanford Cancer Institute. My research is focused on the development and application of innovative computational and experimental approaches to improve the diagnosis, treatment, and early detection of cancer. To this end, my laboratory leverages genome-scale data, coupled with computational and statistical modeling and iterative experimentation in order to define the molecular determinants and dynamics of tumor progression and to develop predictive and prognostic biomarkers.
