I am a early-stage venture investor, board director, and a trusted advisor to healthcare leaders who are relentless in achieving growth and healthcare value within fast-moving or complex environments. To enable growth, I offer a unique perspective spanning patients, providers, and payers. This is borne of experience in clinical medicine, health systems executive leadership, venture capital, and board roles at health plans, startups and public companies. My “superpowers” are my infrasonic hearing, and my uncanny knack for posing the right first questions! I co-lead healthcare strategy and invest in seed and early-stage companies for Phoenix Venture Partners, where I focus on digital health and hardware-enabled platform companies that transform the way we diagnose, monitor or treat health conditions. I have keen interest in health equity, thus a special focus on the health of women, the aging, and other populations often overlooked. A former CEO, I advise leaders who seek to execute growth or adoption strategies, redesign for better clinical value, innovate their care models, or better engage and lead complex groups of stakeholders.
