Biologics process development, technology development, and manufacturing since 2001 with primary focus in upstream (cell culture) plus downstream (purification) experience with over 3 years of management experience. Experience includes scale-up from thaw to up to 2kL production scale with excellent troubleshooting skills using stainless steel systems, single-use systems, fed-batch techniques, perfusion techniques (tangential flow and alternating tangential flow), multiple harvest and recovery methods (centrifugation, microfiltration, flocculation), and purification methods and techniques. Early and late stage clinical and commercial process development of drug candidates involving process scale-up and optimization as a Pilot Plant lead with extensive cross-functional collaboration. Part of the team that pioneered and advanced disposable cell culture technologies not just for the company including technology transfer support into clinical manufacturing and implementation into the commercial network.
