Business leader, strategic thinker, speaker, writer, and passionate advocate for leaders and facilitators achieving their potential in the virtual workplace. I began my consulting practice in 1992 after a career in human resources in the banking and healthcare industries. From those early days as an organization and management development consultant to the present, I remain passionate about developing strategies and practices that leverage technology and support engagement and retention in virtual training and the virtual workplace. In my role as the CEO/Founder of NetSpeed Learning Solutions, I strive to make learning experiences practical and hands-on. I don't linger in the theoretical, but move to the behavioral. In the end, it's not what you know–it's what you do with that knowledge that makes a difference. I love partnering with our clients to address their challenges and help them make a profound impact in their organizations. I combine my corporate experience as a talent development manager with my background in theater directing to create innovative, powerful solutions. With my love of technology and my understanding of adult learning principles and brain-based learning principles, I focus on designing programs and tools that engage, inform, and lead to results on the job. It's not the bells and whistles that keep them engaged. It's the powerful design and delivery that captures their attention, drives reflection, develops their skills, and results in committed action. I am the author of two books, "Great Webinars: Interactive Learning that is Captivating, Informative, and Fun," and "Peer Power: Transforming Workplace Relationships."
