Bio

I'm the Director of ÖMKi and hon. associate professor of the Debrecen University. I received my MSc in landscape planning at the Corvinus University of Budapest (2004) and acquired my doctoral degree at the Technical University of Munich, Department of Landscape Ecology (2010). In 2017 I acquired an additional MSc in Plant Protection at the Szent István University, Gödöllő. Previous to my appointment at ÖMKi I worked as a research associate of FiBL in Switzerland. I have experience in coordinating national research projects on organic agriculture (on-farm network) and participate in several European research projects, such as the Horizon 2020 DIVERSIFOOD, DiverImpacts, LIVESEED, SolACE, Farmer’s Pride and others. I am elected vice-president of IFOAM Organics Europe (2020-2023).
