Doug Stockham is president and co-founder of Emergency Assistance Foundation, Inc., the leading 501(c)(3) US public charity designed solely to administer global disaster and hardship relief funds, thereby providing grants to individuals in need around the world. He has conducted extensive research and analysis of more than 100 independent relief fund programs to create a set of industry best practices and benchmarks, which have been published and discussed in various white papers, blogs, and reports. Emergency Assistance Foundation now administers 350+ relief funds around the world, serving more than 12 million individuals across six continents. In 2020 alone, the organization exceeded $100 million in grants awarded, providing assistance to over 175,000 grant recipients. Additionally, Doug has founded Emergency Relief Fund Education Group (ERFEG), an educational coalition and community of professionals aligned with the common goal of perfecting employee relief funds through the exchange of ideas, resources, knowledge, and best practices across a variety of industries; has founded Relief Fund Services Group (RFSG); is a member of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF); and sits on the board of Emergency Assistance Foundation Canada (EAF Canada). Doug earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
