I am a co-founder and the CEO of Arival, an independent platform for creators and sellers of Tours, Activities & Attractions. Our mission is to advance the business of creating awesome in-destination experiences through inspiration, education and community and establish Tours, Activities & Attractions as the essential sector of travel that it deserves to be. I also continue to serve as a senior analyst to Phocuswright, the leading travel industry research firm. For more than 10 years I played a key role in building Phocuswright research and programming the Phocuswright Conference, the bellwether event for online travel. I have also designed and led numerous seminal studies on vacation rentals and private accommodation, tours and activities, social media and traveler reviews, travel agencies, the vacation rental markets, online travel agencies, global distribution systems and more. I am a recognized expert on online travel and travel distribution and am frequently cited in leading media outlets including Bloomberg, CNN, The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. I am also a sought-after speaker and moderator, and I have presented Phocuswright research at numerous travel industry events around the world.
