Growing up in a family of doctors and medical professionals, I experienced early on (as have most people that work in the medical field) that the current health systems worldwide, unfortunately, no longer put the patient in the center of attention, but are driven by financial and shareholder interest - often valuing revenue over people's wellbeing.
