As Global Inclusion Leader for the professional services firm Deloitte, I work with our global leadership on enabling and embedding inclusion across our organisation. I am passionate about all aspects of diversity and inclusion and in my former role as Managing Partner for Talent for Deloitte UK (which I held from 2013 - June 2019) drove significant change across our business which saw us make meaningful progress on diversity and inclusion. This progress included a decrease in female attrition across those grades where we previously saw higher than average levels of female attrition and an increase in the number of female partners (by 8 pp over 5 years). I led our focus on Respect & Inclusion (including our Ask Yourself Film), early reporting of both our gender (in 2015) and ethnicity (2017) pay and total earnings gaps and devised and embedded agile working (including the award winning Time out programme) across our business; other highlights include the introduction of our award winning return to work programme and the introduction of our return to work retraining programme. I am a regular commentator on the subject of diversity and inclusion – including (but not limited to) gender pay gap reporting and the importance of culture in ensuring diversity. Proudly listed in Financial Times HERoes list (2017 & 2018); Accountancy Age’s Women in Finance (2nd, 2018); Investing in Ethnicity Awards – Top 8 Champions (Allies) (2018), and OUTstanding, top 50 LGBT+ Allies (2019). Also proud recipient of Women in the City, Woman of Achievement Award (2015); and Women in Finance, Ambassador of the Year award (June 2018).
