I began my career with White Raven Associates in 2006 primarily as a NHS contractor working for a Mental Health Trust. Contracting to this and other Trusts over the past 10 years I have been in charge of the training and implementation on multiple new electronic systems. These systems have included the implementation and project management of a digital pen project, a digital dictation system with transcription over two large NHS sites. I was accountable for the training of NHS staff on an electronic diary sheet system, a full electronic patient record, and the ongoing training and support of new staff. Recently I have been responsible for the evaluation of an End of Life electronic protocol. During my time working with the NHS I have worked with third party suppliers to ensure that expectations are met from both side of the fence. I have had in depth knowledge of working with SQL database design. I have been lead trainer on many NHS projects including the implementation of EPR systems, Digital Dictation systems, and basic IT training. I am also a member of IHE UK which is a non-profit association dedicated to interoperability in health information technology, IHE-UK gathers a broad range of stakeholders to advance the shared exchange of patient information. I am also working currently with the NHS England and HSIC strategy meetings with regards to their Interoperability projects.
