Bio

Corporate community done well is a super power. I cofounded EnterpriseAlumni. Our software enables companies to maintain and maximise relationships with corporate alumni for revenue, recruitment and community. We're VERY proud of many things in particular, being the world's first tech company at scale with 50/50 gender balanced ownership and founding team. Be the change you want to see in the world :) My formative years were spent in M&A before moving into entrepreneurship. I remain the youngest person to have floated a company in the UK, IPO-ing on the London Stock Exchange at 29. US HQ'd but with offices on three continents, our software powers the corporate alumni networks of some of the world's largest companies; alumni are a huge pool of rehires accounting for up to 20% of our customers' annual recruits, a huge source of new business touching an estimated 40% of net new business in many verticals and a huge pool of advocates, providing a marketing army and evangelism. And of course for alumni, companies can welcome them back and offer perks, discounts, training, access to research and events to help boost personal and professional lives. I love being UNICEF’s first Business Mentor. I truly believe entrepreneurship can change the world and the program embodies my belief that teaching basic business skills can change the course of someone's life. I first went to Zambia in 2013 to launch an entrepreneurial program and conceived and launched their first crowdfund for Innovation Labs in Refugee Camps in 2017. More recently I spearheaded an initiative to help refugees find jobs commensurate with experience, driving the private sector to partner with Refuaid - pulling together over 200 large companies to fund, employ and teach english. I’m also lucky to have been selected by The Telegraph in 2012 to launch the business column in the Wonder Women section early in my career and now regularly contribute to other media And in 2016, I was awarded an MBE for Entrepreneurship by the Queen. Just dropping that in ...! That said, no bio of mine would be complete without mentioning the five stars I gained at my first job at 16 at McDonalds. I'm good at making fries! And whilst I am at it... do watch the Tribeca winning documentary General Magic on iTunes. I’m a small part of the team behind it and being involved has been one of my greatest personal life highlights. It’s basically the story of how tech came to be. ps c30 years a vegan and one area i like to angel invest 🌱
