Scientific Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Alloplex Biotherapeutics, Inc I am physician-scientist with a data-driven style. My specialty is in clinical pathology, immunology and oncology and I have broad practical experience in the technical, financial and strategic aspects of developing healthcare assets. I started my professional academic career with an appointment at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). After transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, I assumed roles of increasing responsibility beginning with clinical development and progressing to business development and external asset evaluation. Specializing in immunology and oncology, I have held positions with Wyeth, BBBiotech, Millennium, Takeda, Baxalta and Shire Pharmaceuticals. I founded Alloplex Biotherapeutics in 2016 on a concept of my own invention which is protected by patents and trade secrets. I have been leading the company ever since as CEO as we advance our lead asset to a first-in-human trial.
