James has over 20 years of management experience at CERN, having worked 15 years in the fields of IT & engineering followed by 15 years in HR. He is recognised as an HR professional and senior manager with a proven track record in process optimisation and service delivery. He has written and presented policy documents for CERN’s management & governing bodies as well as representing CERN in presenting to external audiences, CERN VIP and governmental visits. In the HR field – James has given several keynote talks, is a member of the advisory board for the HR Grapevine Magazine and contributing author for two Masters-level HR books.
