Dr. Jared Isaac PhD MBA has 10 years of industry experience in molecular diagnostic, medical device, and biopharmaceutical markets, and 7 years of experience managing direct reports. His current responsibilities include technical feasibility assessment, competitive intelligence, new product development, project management, business development, product innovation, and R+D custom services. Dr. Isaac leads Cygnus Technologies’ mass spectrometry service for identification and quantification of biopharmaceutical process impurities with three direct report scientists. Dr. Isaac partners Cygnus Technologies with Biopharmaceutical companies to ensure biological drugs are safe and effective. Prior to joining Cygnus Technologies, Dr. Isaac worked for Thermo Fisher Scientific for over 5 years as a Scientist, Scientist III, and Staff Scientist developing molecular diagnostic products for the clinical markets using genomic and proteomic technologies. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, Jared managed a team of three direct reports responsible for new product research and development, sustaining engineering, project management, marketing, and business development. Dr. Isaac has introduced, validated, and developed molecular assays which required the evaluation of new technologies, assay development and instrumentation. He has extensive experience in new product development of consumable reagents and instrument platforms.
