Jason Barrett is the Lead Policy Analyst for Paid Family Medical Leave in Washington State. In this role, he is integral to the development of regulations and policies around all aspects of PFML. He is a veteran of the public, private, and non-profit sectors with experience in a variety of policy areas including government data transparency and economic development. Jason is passionate about ensuring the success of paid family and medical leave, both in Washington and around the nation, because he feels strongly that workers should not have to choose between a paycheck and providing vital care for themselves or loved ones. Jason received a bachelor's degree in corporate communications from Elon University and a master's degree in legislative affairs from George Washington University. Originally from Orlando, FL, Jason currently resides in Seattle.
