My career journey started out as an AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) specialist. Designing routing, planning logic behind lifting applications, project management, and even training were considered everyday events for me. However, times change and so do we. It was time for me to move on to my current position. Safety. This field change pushed me away from ''designing processes'' and instead pushed me towards protecting people from the aforementioned ''designed processes''. Moving to this position showed me how little focus education portions out for safety. We were taught how to make a robot move, not how to prevent the robot from running someone over. If you find yourself in the need of a safety specialist for a similar reason, feel free to reach out to me. I am not a salesman nor do I make commission for referrals, but I feel that everyone deserves to go home to their loved ones at night.
