EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF HOSPITAL FACILITIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI HEALTH SYSTEM WITH EXPERTISE IN SYSTEMS AUTOMATION AND TJC REGULATORY COMPLIANCE As an Executive Director with 30 years experience in healthcare leadership, I have enjoyed a successful career in hospital facilities management. I have managed over 400 projects, including implementation of building automation, CMMS, wireless monitoring, fire alarm, integrated security/CCTV and productivity systems. Over the past 4 years, I have developed and deployed more than 100 mobile applications for multiple hospital departments at the University of Miami. My Motto is everything that can be automated will be automated. My passion lies in identifying operational problems and devising innovative solutions. I have a proven track record of implementing new technologies and maturing best practices. I use my consultancy skills to ensure regulatory compliance for local, state, CMS and TJC requirements. I excel at implementing programs and automation technologies. I am currently the Executive Director of the University of Miami Hospital Facilities with responsibility for clinical engineering and regulatory compliance pertaining to Agencies Having Jurisdiction in the areas, of safety, fire, life safety, utilities, and medical equipment across the UHealth System and Medical Campus. The UHealth System encompasses three hospitals and over 100 ambulatory clinics across 5 Florida counties. I am highly self-motivated and committed to continual professional development, I speak both English and Spanish fluently.
