Bio

Kate Gatto (she/her) is a third generation settler to Turtle Island, born and raised on Treaty 13 Territory in Toronto, where she currently lives with her family. She is committed to working with a diversity of partners to address systemic challenges through collaborative cross-sectoral action, and is inspired by the power of community. Kate is currently a Manager of Social Impact with Future Launch at RBC, where she works in partnership with national youth-serving organizations, contributes to thought leadership in education, and manages RBC's suite of Future Launch Scholarships. Throughout her career, Kate has designed and led teams to deliver high-impact civic engagement and education programming locally, nationally, and globally, and has made contributions at several organizations including the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative, the International Development and Relief Foundation, People for Education, and TakingITGlobal. Kate earned an M.Ed. from Brock University, where she studied the social and cultural contexts of education, and completed her Hon. B.A. in English Literature at the University of Toronto.
