A seasoned Human Resources Professional with almost two decades of solid experience in People Management with specialization in Recruitment, Selection and Placement, Employee and Labor Relations, and a strong background in Compensation and Benefits and Training & Organizational Development. Working for several industries like manufacturing, hospitality, and BPO allowed him to appreciate multicultural perspectives. He currently serves as Country Head of People and Culture for AirAsia Philippines, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Through this role, Kirk was able to advance his leadership skills responsive to the changing needs of people management. Kirk’s business acumen spans across Asean, leading the HR Team of AirAsia Indonesia in 2018 and handling the career site of the AirAsia Group in Malaysia. As a thought leader, Kirk has been generous in sharing best practices in the field. He was invited as a Resource Speaker during the Aviation Festival Asia in Suntec, Singapore last June 2022. He also got an invitation as a Panelist Speaker at the 33rd National Quality Forum and 22nd National PESO Congress in October 2022. He was given an opportunity to judge entries in the First HR Excellence Awards (Philippines) held in Pasay City and Workbean Employer Brand Awards in March 2023.
