I am an often-used expert speaker at international shipping conferences, as well as at private engagements focusing on providing clients updated information on container market developments in brief no-nonsense manner focusing on the facts. I have applied my capabilities at A.P.Moller-Maersk and The Containership Company in a variety of different challenges: - succesful launch of an independent global market intelligence company focusing on container shipping. - 6 years in charge of market intelligence for Maersk Line, creating and improving research and forecasting capabilites for container markets as well as developing a global market intelligence organisation across 17 different countries. - 3 years focusing on innovations within eCommerce for A.P.Moller-Maersk, including directorship of youship.com as the World's first 100% online container carrier. - 1 year at The Containership Company in charge of marketing & IT. I have an educational background as a Ph.D. in theoretical physics, combined with Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and leadership training from London Business School. This has provided me with a very strong analytical framework for identifying trends and opportunities in highly complex environments.
