Hospitality Management entrepreneur, focused on strategy, finance and operations for hotels and tour companies and food & beverage ventures. Luca majored in Business and Economic Sciences for the Hospitality industry at the University of Florence with a school year spent at NYU (New York University) on scholarship , a Master in Hospitality at CORNELL University and a Master Certificate at the University of Florence as part of an international Master programm in Hospitality - VocMat - in Association with the University of Girona and the University of Tartu. He has a deep academic knowledge of the industry as well as an extensive work experience, gained in several luxury hotels and his own tour operators. Luca's been travelling the world extensively since his childhood. In 2006 started his entrepreneurial experience, FLORENCETOWN, now part of the corporate group WHS for which Luca is CEO and major stockholder, that invested in several hospitality ventures: Two tour operators, a food & wine resort, two restaurants, two cooking schools, a winery, a transportation company. The group, a leading hospitality company in Florence, Italy, counts almost 70.000 guests every year with more 100 employees. Luca is represents Florentine Tour Operators in Destination Florence Convention & Visitors Bureau as an executive board member, and sits in the board of the Center for Touristic Studies. He's a passionate Business lecturer at Florence University and the Hotel Schools of the Florentine area.
