Architect (Licensed in Uruguay), Project Director and Researcher with a over 12 years of experience working in the global AEC Industry and academia. Professional and thought leader specialized in Innovation, Mass Timber Construction, Prefabrication, Sustainability and BIM/VDC Technologies with a Doctorate (Ph.D.) focused in Bioproducts Engineering and Management from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. At VIATechnik, Maria leads a team of managers, engineers and BIM specialist to ensure schedules and the client's needs are met. While at VIATechnik, Maria has worked directly with construction companies, real estate developers, architects and subcontractors from different U.S. regions to assist them in the efficient implementation of VDC Technologies from design through construction.
