Experienced Travel & Tourism professional holding senior leadership positions in International Organisations, Commercial Aviation, Hospitality, Destination Management & Marketing and Academia. I have acquired a profound understanding of the global challenges facing our sector and all the opportunities that brings to the global economy, people and planet. Currently Senior Vice President at WTTC responsible for Commercial, Business Development , Corporate Relations and Events. I oversee overall revenue of the Organization, institutional and membership relations and manage large teams in complex projects on a global level. I led in the birth of the low-cost commercial aviation segment in Southern Europe at Virgin Express, Go-fly, EasyJet and Ryanair. I have also worked with flag carriers such a British Airways where I serve as the Sales & Marketing Director for Spain, Portugal and France. During my hospitality period I managed the introduction and implementation of the Travelodge Hotels in Iberian Peninsula as CCO and Operating Committee member, aligning Spanish Operations with the International HQ. I was also elected Board Member of the Corporate Association of Hotels in Madrid (AEHM) and City Promotion Commission. An entrepreneur by nature, I founded a consultancy company 10 years ago. In 2020 I founded with a group of profesional women a non-for-profit organization, Women Leading Tourism, to support women empowerment in the sector. Extensive network and experience at C-Level, governments and international decision makers. Highly energetic and motivated leader with a passion for tourism, I like long term commitment and setting and achieving ambitious goals. Very comfortable in working in an international environment and dealing with different cultures. I like to bring people together Executive MBA from ICADE Business School and Industrial & Clinique Psychology Degree from University of Salamanca, with secondments in Coimbra, Portugal and Leuven, Belgium.
