Diversity, equity and inclusion expert with team leadership and project management experience. Recently found love in DEI trainings and workshops. About me: Diversity, equity and inclusion, supported by proper leadership and strategy, are integral parts of every organization. They provide great value in creating and maintaining desired culture, while generating profits for any company. But most of all, they are close to my heart and were always present in my personal and professional journey. Graduating studies on the intellectual property and new media law, I wrote my first thesis focusing on brand-building process in the music industry by using trademark protection. It resulted with an award from the Minister of Science and Higher Education. This proved that thinking outside the box and brining a new perspective (true to yourself) not only brings joy to the work, but also pays off. Before I joined the corporate branch, for a while I was managing content of an online magazine, as a part of a unique and inclusive project, created by and for all culture enthusiasts. This showed me how exciting leadership and cooperation with different people can be. During further steps of my career, I was always happy to engage in various creative tasks, eventually leading the Diversity & Inclusion team and by this managing internal projects and campaigns at QVC Poland, a key part of the global Qurate Retail Group. This was my first big step into the world of DE&I in the workplace, ERG actions and corporate responsibility. While leading the team and projects in Admind, I had the opportunity to use my skills and increase the knowledge of brand-building, design and inclusive leadership. I worked on DE&I strategy both within the agency (supporting the B-Corp application process) and with Admind's partners and clients, who aimed to carry out the values of equity, inclusion and diversity in their communication and brand assets. As the mBank strategy focuses on the ESG path, the key part is to sustain diverse and inclusive culture. Working as an DE&I expert, I am able to support various internal processes and actions to nurse our culture, based on empathy, authenticity and cooperation. Additionally, I am the ambassador for simple language (mKanon), a key part of inclusive communication, and OKR Coach for the HR department (introducing the DEI objectives into our main strategy). Favourite thing about my work? When people start to see and believe in equity and inclusion once we start to uncover this magic side of our world.
