NIH trained scientist with in depth industrial product development, managerial experience and FDA regulatory expertise in cell & gene therapy and tissue engineering. Operational knowledge of clinical trial logistics for advanced therapies. Author of more than 50 original research articles and holder of 25 issued patents and 54 additional pending patents. Recipient of several grants including Bloodpharming grant from DARPA. Founder and first Chair of Gordon Research Conference on Signal Transduction by Engineered ECM. Member of Bio5 Advanced Therapy USP Expert Committee and ISCT legal and Regulatory affairs Committee. Contributor to ARM’s projects with focus on cell and gene therapy. My interest is in neurodevelopment.
