Nidhi Khanna

Vice-President, Program Operations

Skills for Change

Country or State

Hi – welcome to my LinkedIn profile. I know I’m supposed to be super serious and talk about my many professional achievements, but first, here’s a bit about me: ask me anything about scuba diving (and my dive lifestyle brand Dive Tripping), yoga (and how I incorporate it into my coaching style) or Boston Terriers (and my very own Xena the Warrior Princess). Okay, now on to my third person account about how I’m a super professional, multi-talented, very accomplished leader: Nidhi brings 20 years of non-profit sector experience in program development, operations, social enterprise and event management. Over the course of her career, Nidhi has worked in leadership roles at the institutional, municipal and grassroots levels in Canada. Nidhi’s approach to programming is framed in a holistic view that intersects operations, finance and community to develop relevant and responsive programs. She is currently Vice President of Program Operations for Skills for Change, a registered charity and nonprofit multi-service agency in Toronto, Ontario serving over 16,000 immigrants, refugees and equity seeking groups annually through over 25 community based programs. An actor by training, Nidhi holds an M.A. in Text and Performance Studies from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art/King's College London, an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business and she is a 2018 Fellow of the Toronto Arts Council’s Leaders Lab. Nidhi’s community work has focused on mentorship of emerging arts leaders with a particular focus on the systemic issues and barriers that face women in the non-profit sector. She is a Board Member for JAYU, a Coach for FORA, a Strategic Advisor for LABx, a Strategic Advisor for Work In Culture and is the Co-Chair of Generator's inaugural Strategic Advisory Committee.
