I joined Brunswick in November 2022 as a Partner, based in the Paris office but serving global clients, advising the world's leading companies on how to navigate the critical issues they face. Prior to joining Brunswick, I was Director of the OECD's Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, where for more than a decade I spearheaded international tax reform in close collaboration with G20 Finance Ministers. In particular, I led the negotiations on fighting Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) that resulted in the end of bank secrecy for tax purposes and the fight against harmful tax competition, which culminated in an agreement in October 2021 by more than 130 countries on a 15% global minimum tax. Before joining the OECD in 2007, I held several senior positions in the French Ministry of Finance. I also worked as Finance Director of the French Energy Regulatory Commission between 1999 and 2002, where I was responsible for supporting the implementation of an electricity exchange and establishing the rules for a new pricing system. I am also Professor at the University of Lausanne.
