I lead Linklaters Singapore’s financial regulatory practice, and advise banks, investment managers, broker-dealers, market operators, insurance companies and intermediaries, as well as technology and other companies expanding into the fintech sector, on various issues including: - licensing and structuring, - compliance with regulatory rules, - corporate M&A in the financial services sector, - regulatory change projects and - regulatory investigations. I am actively involved in the fintech sector and have advised on numerous fintech projects, including digital asset offerings and structuring, blockchain initiatives, and leading the AML Code of Conduct project for ACCESS in consultation with the MAS and the Association of Banks in Singapore. I sit on the Linklaters’ global Fintech Steering Group and global Innovation Steering Group which drive strategy for the firm globally for (i) fintech and (ii) innovation and efficiency, respectively. I am also the Social Impact partner for our Singapore office.
