Bio

I have worked in hospitals, charitable orgainsations and most recently care homes. I hold many dementia specific qualifications and I have studied at many universities exploring practice Development in dementia care. I have been involved in the development of dementia training for hospitals and care homes. I am currently a Health and Social Care lecturer and advise on LGBTQ needs for health/ care organisations and research institutions. I am studying a Professional Doctorate, exploring care staffs understanding of the needs of an LGBTQ+ person living with dementia, especially, gender non conformity and gender neutral expression.
