I am CEO of T Choithram & Sons LLC. Choitrams is a leading food and non-food retailer and distributor in the Middle East. Prior to my present job, I spent 9 eventful years at Sodexo Benefits & Rewards Services. I worked in diverse roles at Sodexo. Worked as CFO for Sodexo India and thereafter as CFO for Central & Southern Europe before appointment as MD of Sodexo India in mid-2012. I started my career in Essar Shipping following my MBA from IIM Calcutta and moved on to SCICI, a financial institution that specialised in financing the marine sector. SCICI was merged into ICICI in 1997 and I worked on some interesting projects in ICICI Advisory Services before joining Rediff.com as their CFO in 1998. We listed Rediff.com at NASDAQ in 2000. Worked as CFO in HCL BPO Services, Bharti Telesoft & Epicenter Technologies before joining Sodexo India as CFO end 2007. My experience includes managing a business, launching new initiatives, working at start-ups, IPO in the USA, M&A activity, business development, finance and accounts, legal compliance.
