I have almost 30 years’ experience in Travel Technology, having started my career at SABRE in Europe and the US. In the late 90’s I founded Dolphin Dynamics; today a global Travel Technology supplier of travel back-office and reservation platforms. In late 2016 I started to explore other tech ventures and especially took an interest in the Fintech space realising the payment industry was changing rapidly. Immediately keen on Blockchain/DLT and Smart Contract technology, I saw an immediate application in the space I know best: Travel Automation and Payments. In late 2018 I relinquished all my other operational duties and founded Travel Ledger to build a next generation B2B data exchange and settlement platform for the Travel Industry. After a couple of funding rounds and 3 years of hard work, Travel Ledger went live in late 2021 and now enables over 2,000 UK travel companies to electronically receive and reconcile thousands of electronic invoices each week and automatically settle with all of their global suppliers via a single standard data exchange and payment process.
