Daniel Leon is a business and social entrepreneur with a proven track record of growing early-stage companies and building organizations from the ground up. Sought out for his passion, his ability to think strategically, and his talent for communicating a corporate story, Daniel has co-founded and led multiple companies and not-for-profit organizations. Daniel is currently the President and co-founder of Celsius - a new borrowing and lending platform, based on blockchain technologies. The company successfully completed a $50 mil ICO. He is also a managing partner w VC firm Governing Dynamics. Previously, he was founder/CEO of Atlis Labs Inc - a venture-backed local discovery platform powered by real-time customer referrals. Prior, Daniel served as CEO of Beyon3D and the Chairman of HereO. He was also General Manager, Mobile, of Ground Link, that raised more than $30 million in funding during his tenure. He started his career as Vice President at Gallup. Daniel’s community involvement shows the same zeal for entrepreneurism that he has demonstrated in the business world. He is a founding board member of Act for Israel—an online platform for pro-Israel, digital activism —the latest of his ventures designed to strengthen the ties between his native and adoptive countries. He is also a founding member of AIPAC Technology Division and a founding board member of Moatza Mekomit - the umbrella organization of Israeli community in NYC where he chairs both the business and Israel committees. Daniel sits on various boards. In October 2012, Daniel was asked by the Jewish Agency for Israel to join the task force tasked with keeping Israelis living abroad connected to the Jewish State. Daniel holds a degree in Economics from Brown University and also attended Santa Monica College where, to the surprise of no one, founded the community’s first Rotary Club. Daniel has one daughter, Ella, who is the love of his life. He splits his time between New York and Tel Aviv.
