I have more than 15 years of international experience working at multiple levels of tourism planning, development and delivery. As the Chief Sustainability Officer & Head of TreadRight for The Travel Corporation, the world’s largest privately owned travel company, I lead the overall direction on sustainability within the organisation, and the way in which the groups leading brands impact the destinations in which we operate. I also oversee our TreadRight Foundation, the groups not-for-profit foundation dedicated to Making Travel Matter. I regularly presents at and participates in key industry forums and special committees including PATA, ATTA, UNWTO, WTTC, Tourism Cares and the Coalition for Ethical Wildlife Tourism. In 2018 I was recognized by Canadian Traveller Magazine as a Top 40 under 40 in the Canadian travel industry and as an Industry Top Performer by the WTTC in 2021. I hold an MSc in Tourism and Environmental Management, where my focus was on integrating the principals of sustainability into tourism marine based tourism businesses in my home Province of Newfoundland & Labrador.
