Bio

Steve is an advocate for worker health protection, speaking and writing nationally. He is also Managing Director of Steve Perkins Associates; a specialist consultancy providing strategic organisational solutions in occupational hygiene, health and ergonomics, with a particular focus on the construction and infrastructure sectors. Steve has served as a CEO, Executive and Non-Executive Director and has many years of leadership experience in the private and charity sectors. He works with senior organisational leaders to advise and coach them in strategic approaches to occupational health protection. Underpinned by the intellectual rigour of an Oxford science degree education and the business competence that comes from being a Chartered Director, Steve has the proven ability to lead, influence and coach at senior level. Steve is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Physics, an Associate member of the BOHS Faculty of Occupational Hygiene and has served in a number of charity trustee roles.
