Hi, I’m Steven, I am passionate about helping purpose driven brands deliver their growth ambition. I have over 12 years’ experience successfully designing, delivering and optimising complex brand strategies and operating models in the luxury, premium and mass sectors. My philosophy is to balance both art and science to any project I undertake. I am passionate about bringing commercial and creative teams together to co-create strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to drive effectiveness. Day to day I enjoy helping teams join the dots, bringing together teams for decision making, and driving clarity, context and the voice of the client to deliver ambitious growth targets. A bit about me, I care a lot about building meaningful things, helping others and authenticity. I love cycling, walking my dog Zara and am a big Tim Walker fan. I am also incredibly passionate about making a difference particularly in the arts and championing children’s rights. Previously I have sat on sub-boards for the Royal College of Art and Children’s Commissioner for England & Wales, University of London and been a member of the Samaritans. Some key achievements: 2020: Drove the development of the global De Beers marketing strategy. 2019: Led the development of the global five year De Beers Forevermark business strategy. 2018: Two years running, rated the highest performer in my peer group at De Beers. 2017: Throughout a five-year career at Deloitte, consistently rated as “exceeding expectations” and achieved 17 awards. 2016: Global General Manager for the three largest retail accounts and second largest consumer product client in the UK. 2015: Appointed as a Chief of Staff to the North Europe Deloitte Lead Retail Consulting Partner. Highest fee earning Manager in the Retail Consulting department. 2014: Received Deloitte Partner Group award for ‘exceptional performance’ for successful delivery of a major luxury consulting project. 2013: Top 5% performer in Deloitte appraisal. Qualified as a Certified Chartered Accountant. 2010: PwC United Kingdom Outstanding Graduate Award.
