Susan Hart is the co-leader of Spencer Stuart’s global Retail, Apparel and Luxury Goods practice and a core member of the firm’s North American Board and CEO practices. Throughout her 35 years with the firm, Susan has completed over 1300 executive and board searches globally for organizations that touch all areas of the consumer and retail sectors. In addition to her successful track record of CEO and board placements, Susan is an expert and valued advisor in CEO succession planning, board governance, corporate culture and other complex leadership solutions. Within Spencer Stuart, Susan served for six years on the firm’s global management committee, responsible for worldwide training and professional development. Susan was an active member of the National Retail Federation Foundation, serving as a member of the board of directors from 2018 to 2022. Susan graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a bachelor’s in business administration. Susan is based out of Spencer Stuart's New York office.
