I am a trained cell and molecular biologist that is self-taught in computer science. My interests are integrating both disciplines for the discovery and development of novel drugs. I utilize machine learning and bioinformatics to develop tools that leverage traditional biological pipelines to increase the throughput and accuracy of drug target screening. I am an avid academic with the goal of applying state of art science for the betterment of human healthspan. My pre-doctoral studies was focused on the regulation of B cell activation and antibody maturation. My postdoctoral fellowship was focused on investigating the mechanisms of cellular plasticity and muscle biology. Specifically, I worked elucidating mechanisms underlying somatic cell reprogramming to pluripotency, stem cell self-renewal, and muscle tissue regeneration with a goal toward clinical applications for regenerative medicine.
