Vishal is the CEO/Founder of Kanira, a heritage-inspired health food company that makes products using the climate smart ancient grain, millet. Kanira's 1st products are a line of wholesome, on-the-go breakfast biscuits, made for individuals who regularly skip breakfast or are looking for a quick morning snack. In addition to running Kanira, Vishal is an independent management consultant. He regularly works with top-tier consulting firms such as Oliver Wyman and Bain & Co. on private equity/investment due diligences in industries such as transportation & logistics, financial services, fintech and heavy industrials. Previously, Vishal was a Senior Growth Operations Manager at Samsara, a leading telematics startup backed by renowned investors such as Andreessen Horowitz and General Atlantic. There, he was responsible for supporting the sales team through lead generation efforts, conducting ad-hoc business analysis and helping to craft the overall EMEA Sales & Marketing strategy. Prior to Samsara, Vishal was a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group’s Dubai office. During his time at BCG, he was a key member of the Principal Investors & Private Equity practice area, assisting clients in the MENA region on strategic investment & operational management projects. Vishal also brings ~5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, change management and operational improvement projects across a variety of industries, both as a consultant and in industry. He has consistently outperformed expectations in his previous roles and delivered tangible multi-million dollar COGS and SG&A savings with direct P&L impact.
