2. Africa Tech Summit Nairobi

Some events are so well-planned that they leave an indelible impression on the minds of their attendees. The Africa Tech Summit Nairobi 2024 is one such event. With two back-to-back sold-out years, the Africa Tech Summit Nairobi sixth edition is once again one of the most recommended IT events of the quarter. The event brought the who’s who of the tech world in the African continent under one roof. Key stakeholders included tech corporates, mobile operators, fintechs, DeFi & crypto ventures, leading startups, regulators, and investors, making the event a treasure trove for network opportunities.

Two things stood out in the Summit. One was the ease of networking opportunities. The organizers had done a good job of including adequate breaks between sessions, and the overall event schedule was designed to give attendees the maximum opportunity to connect with their peers.

FOSDEM 2024 provided attendees with the opportunity to dive deeper into the latest developments in the free and open source software world.

4. WACV 2024

With a badge for the most recommended IT event in the first quarter of 2024, WACV 2024 provided exceptional value for students, academics, and industry researchers. The Premier International Computer Vision event, which was held in  Hawaii from Jan 5th-9th, enthralled its attendees with its exotic charm and mindblowing tutorial sessions and workshops. The event was held in hybrid mode, allowing many remote attendees to participate and engage in the discussions.

One of the most apparent aspects that stood out in the event was the choice of venue. The event was held in Hawaii at a larger facility than the previous year, allowing attendees to take advantage of a larger layout. The event also attracted remote attendees with its hybrid sessions.
