I was recently reading a book by Robin Roberts titled, ''Everybody's Got Something'' and it made me reflect on my professional journey. My approach to understanding people of different dimensions of diversity has been an evolution, to say the least. Experiencing life through the lens of others provides a richer perspective on the human experience. It was a pleasant reminder of the Platinum Rule that guides me. ''Treat others the way they would like to be treated'' I love being a Human Resources professional because it enables me to lead with empathy as I work with clients to accomplish business results and with employees to actualize their aspirations.
